244 Seniors Earn Scholarships and Awards - Class of 2025 Earns $14 Million in Scholarships

Congratulations to Centennial's 434 graduating seniors, set to earn their diplomas this coming Wednesday, May 21st at 11:30am at State Farm Stadium. Hundreds of seniors participated in last Wednesday's Senior Awards Ceremony, recognizing scholarship winners and students who earned Career and Technical Education Masters of Subject Area Medallions, Seals of Biliteracy, Art Seals, military enlistment, and many other awards celebrating academic and extracurricular excellence, as well as leadership. On Friday night, seniors joined together to share dinner, sign yearbooks, pick up their yard signs, and enjoy a slideshow of their younger and current selves. One last chance to be together, and now graduation is just three days away!

Congratulations to Coach Williams and Centennial Baseball for clinching a berth in Centennial’s first-ever state championship game! Around Campus

  • Students and staff surprised Coach Richard Taylor on Tuesday with a school-wide assembly to honor him for his 35 years of service to Centennial. Mr. Hollabaugh, Mrs. Dunham, and incoming Head Football Coach Andrew Taylor praised Coach Taylor for positively impacting thousands of students and athletes and helping build Centennial's identity as a school committed to excellence.

Centennial DECA students attended the 2025 International Career Development Conference in Orlando, competing and earning the Gold Level Certification for School-Based Enterprise! Thanks to Mr. and Mrs. Schoolcraft for chaperoning the trip to Florida, and congratulations to our DECA students for achieving this highest standard for school-based enterprise, providing Coyotes with work experiences that enhance their management, supervision, and leadership skills.

Congratulations to Jacoby Lamar who two weeks ago won the Division II State Championship for the 100m race and last weekend finished second in the AIA Open State Track Meet! Congratulations also to Braydon Long, who finished 9th, and Connor Olney who finished 12th in the Open!

Congratulations to Coach Bauer and Boys Volleyball for finishing among the Top 4 teams in the state and advancing farther than any team in program history! The Coyotes fell 3-1 to Campo Verde last Thursday night but were the first to win the region championship and the first to make the state semifinals.

Congratulations to Mrs. Lund, Mr. Buhrmann, Mrs. Jones and all the visual arts students who displayed work at this spring's art show! Below, senior Daria Krasnobaieva displays her work in the front office, a 3D painting that features an owl flying out of harsh wintry conditions into a blooming spring. Daria sought to create a work that captures the struggle of Ukranian people to improve their lives. Mr. Buhrmann praised her last week at the Senior Awards Ceremony for her inquisitive nature that "challenges her to question the process and develop individual ideas for innovative outcomes. Daria's attention to detail, quality and craftsmanship are transparent in all mediums, both 2-D and 3-D. Furthermore, Daria is wise and knowledgeable beyond her years."
