Students who audition for and are accepted into the Vocal Music program will focus on both choral and solo singing.  There will be one major performance each semester, with opportunities for smaller performances throughout the school year.  The Fall Concert is a traditional choir concert; the Spring Concert is a show choir concert with choreography.  Each semester, students are expected to prepare a solo or small ensemble piece.  Students are responsible to choose a piece, find an accompaniment, and practice and prepare their song.  These solo and ensemble performances take place in class during the school day.  Foothills Fine Arts Academy Vocalists have also been invited to perform at school assemblies, Arizona Coyotes games, caroling, and much more.
