Centennial Student Council members joined Officer Fernandez and many other officers for the annual Shop with a Cop event, which allows the Peoria Police Officers Association to provide support to kids and families in the form of holiday gifts.

For the third year in a row, Centennial French students and French Club members sent homemade holiday cards to a charitable organization in France called "Sakado," which provides backpacks (sacs à dos) filled with essentials to people in need. Sakado places a card in each backpack in hopes of uplifting those who receive them. Our cards, drawn and colored and written in French, will travel from Centennial to France, and each one will make its way to a person in need.
