The Power of Getting Involved

  •

“It opened my eyes to something new and what I could do…”

In this short film, take a trip into the life of Centennial sophomore Gandi Sandoval, winner of the 2022 Road Scholarship Award. Gandi and many other student members of Centennial’s Future Business Leaders of America Club traveled to the 2022 FBLA National Conference in Chicago. Gandi praises clubs as a way to learn through fun activities and build lasting friendships. FBLA and many other CeHS clubs teach our students how to prepare and practice workplace communication and leadership skills.

Welcome Back

  • Mr. Hollabaugh and Clyde the CoyoteDear Centennial Students and Families,

Welcome and welcome back! This week, we’ll begin Centennial’s 33rd year together. Our school has flourished because of the partnership that exists between teachers, students, and families. We have one of the strongest and most-veteran teaching staffs in the state of Arizona. They’re excited to meet you! We partner with families to ensure that students develop the skills and confidence necessary to achieve at high levels. At Centennial, we believe that three values help us to be a world-class culture and community: Honor, Integrity, and Excellence. At Centennial... click here for all of Mr. Hollabaugh's welcome back letter.

Each year, we share our Student Handbook and ask that families spend time reviewing it together, paying particular attention to the "Items for Student and Family Focus" on the back of the Handbook Awareness statement. Your son or daughter's 2nd period teacher will provide your family with a copy of the Handbook Awareness statement. You can also view all of the documents here:

The 2022-23 school year brings a new opportunity concerning instructional technology: A federal grant will allow Centennial to supply every student with a new laptop! You can read more about how these devices will support students' college and workplace preparedness by clicking this link. On Friday of this week, all students will take their school pictures, receive their ID's, and visit the Library to borrow a computer for the school year. Your student's 2nd period teacher will distribute a copy of the Laptop Loan Authorization Form, which the student and parent must sign in order to borrow the device. You can find a copy of that form above.

As in previous years, we will communicate at the beginning of each week with you via our "This Week at Centennial" website. As we prepare to come back together, please let us know how we can help you. If you have any questions or concerns, please visit or call our office at 623-412-4400. Thanks for your support and partnership!

    Mr. Hollabaugh
