Congratulations to Coach Taylor and Centennial Football, which ran their perfect record to 9-0 with a 31-6 victory at Pinnacle this past Friday night! The Coyotes, ranked #2 in Arizona, now travel to face #1-ranked Liberty in the last game of the regular season. Use the link above to buy your tickets for Friday night's game, and stay tuned for more information about the opening round of the AIA Open Division playoffs, which begin Friday, November 17th!

Congratulations to Mrs. Tucker and Centennial's Bel Canto Choir, who earned a Superior with Distinction rating in the Arizona Choral Educators Fall Choral Festival! Our students performed for and received feedback and suggestions from clinicians.  The students performed beautifully, receiving the top score possible of "Superior"! The hardest part of the festival is the sight-singing portion.  The students walk into a room, are given a piece of music they have never seen or heard before, and are given 5 minutes to look it over but not sing it.  They then get two opportunities to sing through the selection and are also scored during the session.  Mrs. Tucker has taken students to this festival for five years, and this is the first time the students scored a "Superior" in the site singing portion.

Congratulations to Mrs. Colletti and the cast and crew of Emma. The students delivered four outstanding performances last week. We are proud of your creativity, hard work, and willingness to take on challenges!

Congratulations to Mrs. Menasco and the Pride of the Pack! Centennial's Marching Band placed 3rd out of 12 teams in the weekend's final qualifier at Basha High School. Two more competitions await, with this coming Saturday's ABODA semifinals at Desert Vista High School (12pm) and the state championships at Hamilton on November 11th.

This Week: 2024-25 Course Registration

  • Last week, we held our Electives Fair during lunches, to remind our 9th, 10th, and 11th grade students of the many opportunities available to them next year, as they progress to the next grade level. So many Coyotes took time to ask questions, meet teachers, and learn about classes!

This Week: Select Your 2024-25 Courses

Centennial’s counselors will meet with each grade level to provide students with a folder containing registration materials, a presentation explaining required and elective course options, and guidance to help students complete their 2024-25 registration forms. Please bring your charged laptop and a pencil.

Around Campus

  • Japanese 1 cuisine day

Japanese cuisine is some of the most unique and tasty in the world. Mrs. Cothren's Japanese I class researched the historical and regional background of authentic Japanese dishes, cooked them, then served them up for the class to enjoy. It was like Thanksgiving but Japanese style! Oishikattadesu.

    Japanese Club Tshirts

Our Japanese I class also created a tee shirt to commemorate the establishment of our very first Japanese Club on campus! Tanoshiidesune!
