- How to Verify Time
-
All parents/guardians must verify their student's time in ParentVUE. Students are required to track all time spent working on their online courses in StudentVUE. In addition to verifying time, parents/guardians can also enter time for their students in ParentVUE. Parents/guardians of younger students (e.g., Kinder) may need to enter their student's time using ParentVUE.
Verifying time in ParentVUE is a NEW process for eCampus. Prior to this school year, eCampus parents/guardians were verifying time spent in eCampus courses using the "Parent Verification System." Please disregard any information that you may have seen referencing the parent verification system. Please review the minimum time K-12 students are required to log for eCampus below.
Besides the time students report working inside their online courses and other district approved platforms, students can also log time for the following activities:- Live lessons with teachers
- Independent practice in a district approved platform
- Reading offline (e.g., textbook or novel)
- Working on homework offline
- Typing an essay or homework assignment
- Conducting research on course related materials
These are just a few examples. If students are performing any course related task or activity, that time can be logged by parents in ParentVUE or students can log that time in StudentVUE. Students should reach out to their instructor with any questions. Please watch the video below to learn how to verify your student's time in ParentVUE. Click here if you can't view the video below.
