In this class, students will learn the basic operation of cameras, image capture tools, and processing of photographic images. The class will use their film and/or media to make prints in a lab environment. The students will create several projects that make use of the technical controls on a variety of photographic equipment. Emphasis will be placed on assembling a portfolio that exhibits artistic and technical ability. The consumable fee may not cover the entire cost of the projects. Student access to a 35mm and/or digital camera is strongly recommended.
