Congratulations and Good Luck to Centennial Spiritline as they head to Anaheim this week to perform and compete at USA Cheer Nationals! The Coyotes presented their six nationally-qualifying routines to a large crowd of parents, students, and alumni last Saturday night. This week, it's the real thing in California!
Congratulations to Centennial's Students of the Month, recognized last Friday by the North Peoria Rotary Club for their committment to "Service Above Self." Mrs. Moniz says, "Robert Lugo is the type of student who strives for his own success but also wants everyone around him to be successful. He helps students in his classes better understand our lessons so they can excel like he does. Robby is ever-present on campus, helping to facilitate school events or cheering his classmates to victory! A four-year member of Student Council and this year’s Senior Class President, he dedicates early mornings, evenings, and weekends to ensure his peers and our staff have an exceptional experience." Somehow, he’s also made time to participate in DECA, Baseball and Basketball. Next year, Robby plans to attend Arizona State University, where he’ll major in Chemistry, with plans to then work in Pharmaceutical Sales.
Since her freshman year, Chloe Dobell-Belknap has served as a peer counselor, modeling outstanding leadership last year and this year as our vice president and now president. Chloe is Centennial’s top ambassador to new students, providing them with complete campus tours and ensuring they feel welcomed and valued before sending them off to their first classes. She plans to attend Grand Canyon University next year, where she’ll major in Behavioral Health Sciences with a goal to eventually lead a non-profit dedicated to mental health education. Chloe competed on Centennial’s women’s golf team for two years. Outside of school, she pursues an interest in competitive archery.

Grades 10 - 12The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery (ASVAB) is a timed, multi-aptitude test developed by the Department of Defense designed to determine whether you are a good fit to join the military. The test can indicate which service branches fit your talents and even which military jobs you can hold after you finish basic training or boot camp. The better your ASVAB score, the broader your options!
Unsure of What You Want to Do After High School?
The ASVAB can also be used as a career exploration tool to identify potential civilian (non-military) career paths that align with your skills.Explore Careers That Fit Your Talents

Explore Careers in the Military
The ASVAB is a career exploration tool.

No Obligation to Join the Military
Taking the ASVAB does not commit you to joining the military; it’s a preliminary step to assess your potential.Students Can Choose Whether to Share Their Scores with the Military
Just want to take the ASVAB to learn about careers that fit you? Students can indicate that they do not want their test results released to military recruiters.Learn More About the ASVAB

Preparing for the ACT
-
In just seven weeks, on Tuesday, April 1st, our juniors will take the ACT test. Many of our students use their ACT scores to gain admission into universities and earn scholarship money to reduce the high costs of college tuition. We know that on average, 72% of Centennial students go to college during the years immediately following high school. The ACT will therefore rank among the most important tests in our Coyotes’ academic careers.
