    Career exploration is an essential process on the path to independence. Today, there are multitudes of resources available to help you determine a career field that would be a great fit for you. Peoria Unified as a robust CTE (Career and Technical Education) program including a partnership with WestMEC.

         SchoolLinks is a district-wide resource where students can track their college applications, request transcripts, complete their ECAP, and explore careers in their field of interest. Check it out in Educational Resources

    Career One Stop

         Career One Stop is a great online resource where you can take assessments that will help you determine your areas of strength, your interests, and how what career paths might be great for you based on those things. You can also explore careers in-depth and learn about salaries, education requirements, and information about the future of jobs and growth opportunities.

    O*NET Online

         O*NET is an easy-to-use website where you can learn more about various jobs in many industries and search based on projected industry growth.

         

    Military

     

    ASVAB Test

         ASVAB stands for Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery, which is a multple-choice test designed to help you identify which military jobs would be best for you. While primarily used for placement of military recruits, anyone can take the ASVAB as a career aptitude test. The test is offered at all PUSD campus high schools in the spring.
