Senior timeline to help stay organized by Month.
AUGUST
- Meet with your counselor to review your senior year plan.
- Check the ACT/SAT dates and REGISTER.
- Begin searching for scholarships (continue all year).
SEPTEMBER
- Finalize your list of colleges and be aware of application DEADLINES.
- Begin filling out college applications.
- Request official transcripts through Major Clarity and send to your College if needed.
- Request unofficial transcripts through Student Vue or the Career Center.
- Request letters of recommendation through Major Clarity AND follow up with your counselor
- Apply for the FAFSA FSA ID for you and 1 parent in preparation for the FAFSA that opens 10/1
- Sign Up for the ASVAB test for career exploration & military jobs- Testing is in the Library on 9/27/22
OCTOBER
- FAFSA OPENS OCTOBER 1st
- Start finishing up college applications
- Set up student accounts (i.e. Louie, ASUrite) and check regularly.
NOVEMBER/DECEMBER
- Check deadlines for college housing applications and deposits.
JANUARY
- BEGIN WATCHING THE MAIL FOR YOUR ACCEPTANCE LETTERS.
FEBRUARY
- Check "to do list" on university or college account
MARCH/APRIL
- Check student account for financial aid report.
- Optional- Re-take or take the ACT/SAT
