• Peoria Unified has 34 elementary schools across the district and each campus schedules their own Meet the Teacher event. These are typically held the week prior to the start of school (school starts Wednesday, Aug.9, 2023). Your child’s principal will reach out to you over the summer and share details about when Meet the Teacher will take place.

  • Please Note: If your student is currently enrolled in a Peoria Unified preschool program, you do not need to complete the full registration process. The registration window for continuing students will open in March and you will only need to update the student, parent and emergency contact information.
  • Step 1 Watch Kinder Live & get answers to many of your questions
  • Step 2 Attend Leap Into Kindergarten (Most will be held on Feb. 27, 2025 unless indicated otherwise below)
  • Step 3 Enroll for Next Year
  • Step 4 Meet the Teacher
  • Step 5 Start School on July 31, 2025
