    Glendale, Ariz.- The Peoria Unified School District is hosting a Virtual Teacher Info Session for individuals who are interested in a career in teaching and want to learn more about what Peoria Unified has to offer. Peoria Unified is looking for those who are enthusiastic about making an impact for our future generation while joining a team of highly qualified staff, in a community-oriented environment.  

     

    Those seeking teaching opportunities are invited to join the district’s Virtual Teacher Info Session at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, June 12. Interested individuals can register for the Virtual Teacher Info Session at: https://bit.ly/3Vgr8xO and they will be sent a link to join the event. 

     

    During the Virtual Teacher Info Session, individuals will hear from district leaders, teachers and parents about why they continue to choose Peoria Unified. A panel discussion featuring an instructional coach and new teacher will also be held during the online event. Participants will be introduced to the district’s Chief Personnel Officer, Mrs. Laura Vesley and Chief Academic Support Officer, Dr. Teresa Hernandez, as they spotlight what makes Peoria Unified the premier choice for education professionals. Following the Virtual Teacher Info Session, individuals will be encouraged to view open positions at www.peoriaunified.org/careers and they will receive a link to set up interviews with school principals.
