Family Resource Center Registration
- Registration is required for all Peoria Unified Family Resource Center activities.
- All activities are offered free of charge.
- Registration opens on the 15th of each month for the following month's activities.
- Registration must be completed online. To register, you will need to open an account with Eleyo, our online registration system.

Encanto Week – June 30th-July 2nd
Encanto Sensory Play: Tuesday, July 1st @ Sky View 10-11 a.m.
Sensory play gives children an opportunity for sensory exploration as they engage in activities involving touch, sound, smell, and sight. This month's sensory play will have an Encanto theme. Come dressed for messy fun and exploration.
Ages 1 – 5 Duration: 1 hour
Zumbini: 3 Tuesdays: July 8th, July 15th, and July 22nd from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. @ Alta Loma.
Created by Zumba and BabyFirst, Zumbini is an early childhood education program that uses original music and movement to promote cognitive, social, fine/gross motor skill, and emotional development for children aged 0-4, all while creating the ultimate bonding experience for you and your child! Join us for this introductory 3 class session. Dress comfortably and bring some water. No music or dance experience necessary--just join us for some fun! This is a three-session class. By signing up, participants indicate that they will attend all three sessions. The dates for the sessions are Tuesday, July 1st, July 8th, and July 22nd from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. Alta Loma.
Ages: 0-4 Duration: 45 minutes to 1 hr.

Join your friends at the FRC for movie clips and fun. Dress as your favorite Encanto character if you like. We will have the FRC rooms set up for Play, Learn, Connect and/or just watching some movie clips.

Come Build with Me: Multiple dates/Sites
Want to enhance your child’s problem solving and fine motor skills? Help foster their imagination and creativity while promoting their self-expression and social/emotional growth? All while having fun? Then join us for hands on building play! Come Build with Me offers different set-ups and opportunities for building at each site.

Ages 1 – 5 Duration: 45 minutes
On My Way to K(indergarten)! Six-Week Series for children ages 4 and 5 @ Alta Loma
Our “On My Way to K” program will help children ages 4–5 years old build confidence and skills for a successful start to kindergarten. Through hands-on activities and play-based learning, children will explore letter recognition, phonemic awareness, early math concepts, calendar routines, and classroom rules. Children will practice taking turns, following directions, and building friendships—all while developing foundational skills in literacy, math, and social-emotional learning in a nurturing environment. This program is offered twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday) for three weeks, for a total of 6, 1-hour sessions. By signing up, participants indicate that they will attend all six sessions. The last class will include a fun celebration for those who complete the series. Dates of the classes are as follows: July 8th, July 10th, July 15th, July 17th, July 22nd, and July 24th. All classes will be held at Alta Loma from 10-11 a.m.

Royal Readers: Wednesday, July 9th @ Sky View 10-11 a.m.
Royal Readers: Children will build literacy skills while they enjoy engaging stories about some interesting “Royals” and then have the chance to make their very own crown!

Puzzles and Games: Monday, July 14th @ Alta Loma 10-11 a.m.
In this fun and engaging class, young learners will build critical thinking, problem-solving, and social skills through hands-on puzzles, matching games, board games, and cooperative play. Children will strengthen their fine motor skills, learn to take turns, follow rules, and develop early math and logic concepts—all while having a blast with their peers!

Cold Play Sensory: Tuesday, July 15th @ Sky View 10-11 a.m.
Get ready to chill out and explore! In this sensory-based class, little hands will dig into icy, frosty, and cool materials like ice cubes, frozen dough, cold water beads, and more. Through safe, hands-on play, children will strengthen their fine motor skills, explore temperature and texture, build vocabulary, and spark curiosity—all while having fun with cold, creative experiences!

Great Arizona Puppet Theater: Wednesday, July 16th @ Sky View 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Join the Great Arizona Puppet Theater as they perform the classic story of “Jack and the Beanstalk.” It’s sure to be an enjoyable evening for children and adults alike.

Coffee & Connections - : Wednesday, July 16th @ Sky View 10-11 a.m.
Coffee and Connections: Join us for Coffee and Connections, a warm and welcoming space for parents to come together, enjoy a cup of coffee, and discuss the joys and challenges of parenting. This class offers a supportive environment where you can share experiences, gain insights, and connect with other parents navigating similar journeys. Whether you’re seeking advice, looking to build new friendships, or simply need a break, Coffee and Connections provides the perfect blend of community and support. Come as you are, and let's grow together! This class is for parents and other caregivers - limited child care provide. Duration: 1 hour

Phoenix Children’s Hospital – Home Safety Class: Wednesday, June 4th a Sky View 10-11 a.m.
Learn the benefits and importance of child proofing your home to keep your child safe. Caregivers can sign up for a free class and receive a home safety kit to prevent home injuries. Qualifications – to enroll you must have a child ages 5 years or younger. Childcare will be available for children ages 0-5 years.

Parent Advisory Committee Meeting: Parent Advisory Committee: Wednesday, June 4th @ 3:30 p.m.Childcare Provided (See under Parent Support & Connections category)
The PAC is a group of parents, grandparents, caregivers, and community members, who come together to provide input on designing programs and services to meet the needs of the families in the community. We meet on the first Wednesday of every month, at Sky View FRC. You are welcome to join us for a meeting to see what it is all about! For more information, or if you are interested in joining, please sign up on Eleyo. Limited childcare is available. In a fun and engaging atmosphere, children will explore musical instruments, creative movement, dancing and singing. They will be exposed to beats and rhythms spanning different eras and various parts of the world. This is a 3-week series. By signing up, you are committing to the three-week series.
